Is 1200 bucks too alot for s/c install?
A local shop said that im looking at about 1200 for install on a procharger d1sc. Should i pay that much, or just do it myself?
Edit: The title supposed to say "too much" so dont go makin fun of me

i have no clue how long an install takes but if its like 15-20 hours i can see the price tag of labor....

if its not inercooled thats a lot and you can do it yourself. Its usually a 8-10 hour job. If its intercooled let em do it. I just finished mine and its was a pain. the blower was on in a day but it took several more to run and make all the piping fit right.

the one i was gonna get was intercooled, self contained, all that shit. just dont wanna spend all that dough on an install

The intercooler is cake...Its just time consuming...
If I have the patience to do it then you will be fine... I have no patience...If I did have patience I would want them right now... The install could easily be done one day at the hobby shop on base... |

I used a ebay DIY kit and had it done in a day with the help of GTsetGO...And that was counting us having to figure out how this and that went and him having to leave for soccer at noon...
He will have a Procharger setup which is step by step directions and should nto take more then a day IMHO...No oil pan to drill...No tapping the oil pan... |
