Thank you so much stang94, I have a pending order for Flowmaster Force II (50 series) at Summit and I shall replace it with either an American Thunder (40 Series Delta Flow) or with Dynomax SuperTurbo. I have Flowmaster 60 on my Mercedes coupe and I LOVE the sound & performance! |

with the headers & off-road X pipe, no cats.. blown application.. do you still think that 40 series Delta Flow (American Thunder) is my best bet? I have a feeling it will be too loud with an off road system, so I'm reconsidering 50 series Delta Flow (Force II) the cops will impound my ride for a month if it's loud I dont want it too loud.. something like a stock Corvette Z06 any advice, fellas please? I put my order on hold for this.. dont wanna go wrong! Thanx! |

The 40s are definately loud, if your worried about the feds then go w/ the 50s. I replaced my 40s w/ a set of bassanis cause the flows were getting obnoxious.

I've had a 40 standard (No DF or Super) for 'bout 2 years now. It's ok, but I don't like how it's quiet at certain RPMs. I get right up next to the concrete barrier on the highway so I can listen to it bounce off it. It's quiet cruising around 2000 RPMs. Ok around 1500RPMs / 15MPH. Then just gets loud after 3000 at full throttle.
