100 shot????

I have a stock 04 engine in my 1998. the only mods are spec flywheel and stage 1 clutch. x-pipe and 40 series flowmasters.
Would a 100 shoot nitrous set up be a smart things to do? Of course I'm going to wait till I have put some miles on the mustang seeing I just got the new engine put in. But would I be taking a high risk? would I be risking blowing the engine? I wont get on it all the time may ones or twice I month and then when June comes i might get on it a little more seeing its mustang week down here in myrtle beach.

Please let me have some good advise on what to do...I'm clue-less!

First, you will not be in danger but there are some things you need to do.

Some people are going to give you different advice and tell you that with such and such size shot than you need such and such upgrade, but anything smaller and you will be fine, blah blah blah.

In my opinion, ANY TIME you add nitrous than you need to find some way to keep an eye on your A/F ratio. If you run lean than you run the risk of blowing something.

You can do this with either some dyno time or a guage. Honestly, if it was me, even though a 100 shot isn't too big, I would still get it dyno tuned.

If it does end up running lean than a tune can get it fattened out. You may be pushing the stock fuel system so a new fuel pump might be in your future. Also, I think a fuel pressure safety switch is a must for basic nitrous systems. They are like $60 and a good insurance.

100 shot will be fine, make sure you get a tune, and pull a bit of timeing as well as dial in your a/f. a wet shot would be easier on your fuel system, you will want a both a window ans a WOT switch unless you get one integrated together (which I would do). also a wideband will be your best friend. you should be fine though, just dont spray below 3k rpm and when not at WOT. And dont hit your revlimiter on spray

okay sounds great, I just don't want to blow the engine up because I know I wont be able to afford a new one.
Its something I def. wont to look into getting when I get a some miles on the car when the engine is broken in really good.
