best header and x/h pipe combo

ive owned my stang for about 7 months now, as of now i have installed a BBK fenderwell intake system and a Magnaflow Catback system. i am looking to buy the rest of the exhaust system now while i have money and put it on in the spring. only problem is i am relatively new to the mustang thing, this is my first one, and i wasnt sure what combo to go with. not sure whether i should use long tube headers or shorty, not sure to go with the x pipe or h pipe. is there a specific combo that i should use with my current magnaflow exhaust. and finally what companies shoudl i be looking at to buy from. i was originally thinking of buying the BBK longtube headers with the BBK x pipe, but again i dont really know if this is a good combo. any information would greatly help me out

I don't think you would go wrong with BBK stuff. Personally, I like long-tubes and x-pipes.

If you are going to buy new headers, buy long tube headers. Shorty headers are a waste of money, no matter if they are big tube, small tube, equal length or unequal length. BBK headers are nice pieces. They fit really nice and they have a nice thick flange that will not warp and cause a leak. Their H-pipes bolt on real nice too.

I agree 100%. i just put on my long tubes and h pipe, sounds amazing. Yeah, long tubes are a bitch, especially mine, but trust me, it is worth every minute of throwing wrenches and busting knuckles. If you have an auto, you cannot get BBK. Just a little tip.

The hardest part is loosening up the parts that have been on the car for awhile. That is where me and a buddy lost most of the time. If your car has some rust, then it is even harder. The steering shaft was a bitch, and taking off the stock midpipe was a bitch.

I sure hope the bbk headers sound good with the x-pipe. My cars in the shop right now get it back tommorow. plus a borla exhaust system. A couple of people had said that the note on the x-pipe is highter than the
h-pipe. Does anybody know if this is a true statement or if it's just preferance?

Also the x-pipe is without cat convertors. Don't know what to excpect, I wanted some really good air-flow. That should do it right?
