so i FINALLY got a hold of cobrak1ill3r and he said hed give me my money back if i sent him the box back.now call me crazy but for some reason i dont trust him on this. thoughts?

I'd still report it to the police and have an officer there while you talk to him on speaker phone so you have a witness incase he doesn't follow through. Besides anytime you buy something you have to send the money before you get your package, so I would say he needs to return the money first then send the box. You have no need for the box, but he can definitely use it and keep your money.

i had something similar happen to me last September when i had my stealth, over on 3si.org i bought a stock spoiler for a 3000gt from a guy, sent the money with paypal, and then the guy said he didn't have a box big enough for it, and that he would just drive the hour to my house and give it to me, about a week later, nothing, so i emailed him and he said he didn't want to do that, and he'd just mail it... 1 month later, nothing. didn't reply to emails, and disappeared from the site. i was out 60-70 dollars. (cant remember which) i tried to file a thing with paypal and i must have done something wrong, cause they said there wasn't enough to go on to follow through with the complaint... the following week i found out that all the other people that ordered stuff from his around the same time didn't get anything, and only one guy was able to get his money back. about 3 months later, i saw his car on craigslist and in the add he said he would include all his extra parts, (my spoiler and every one elses stuff.

..) ugh, sorry you have to go through all this...

i dont trust him enough not to take my money and the box so im going to buy the $40 and finish off the kit.

My friend ordered a box off ebay about a month ago and he payed for overnight shipping and the seller sent it regular ground mail. Which takes about a 3wks to get here in HI since it's overseas. Well we get the box and it's not even the right one. So we called the seller and he apologized and said keep the box, I'll send the correct one now free of charge.
We got the box 2 days later, now that's how your situation should've been handled.

hey i bought a nitrous kit from him to and i posted up on here that he was terrible to buy from.. ik how u feel it sucks i got my things a month after i paid him and thats cause i told him i was gonna call the cops and press charges and my window switch had tape around the wires so im not using it anyways plus i didn't get an arming switch or the purge switch
