+1 for JakeM

Just had a great purchase from Jake. Great communication and fast shipping. Product was exactly as described. He's got a Paxton for sale NIB and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Might want to reconsider this, as there is some stuff brewing on another forum about him.

LoL - Thanks for loosing faith so fast! Only one issue. Which is resolved. Over $5000 worth of parts sold including the supercharger kit. Only one issue. Sorry for being human.

I don't mean to offend you Jake. We had a really good transaction. If you look here and on the other forum, I spoke up saying that I had a good transaction with you. That doesn't mean though that we should ignore what happened with that deal.

I totally feel ya about being human, it was your lack of communication with the buyer that wasn't ok. Yeah you took your time, so what? It's all good, but you had that guy's money for a month. I don't think anyone here or there would think that's ok. I'd still do business with you, but I'm more hesitant to give you a good reference to somebody else.

One bad transaction doesn't mean your a bad guy, and I'm glad you got things straight, and I hope you go above what you've done to offer to make it right with the buyer.

Jake, just curious, but every quote that anyone else posted from you in the other thread, you had strange grammatical and spelling errors. What's up with that, kind gentleman?

LoL.. Honestly, lots of guys have used the Ebay kits ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/27X5-5X2-5-F...#ht_2868wt_905) with success for all that stuff. If you don't wanna go that route, call Bob Kurgan of kurganmotorsports.com . He sells more Paxton stuff than pretty much anyone and he will hook you up.

From Paxton? It's like $2000 straight from Summit. Bob would most likely beat that, by how much I can't say. I would call or email and ask him for advice anyway. He may have a kit that he likes to use that is cheaper than the Paxton kit. I know a lot of guys just run the cheap universal ebay kits ($250 and less) with a quality BOV and a VMP blow through MAF tube. That way you kill two birds with one stone by switching to blow through and going intercooled. The Paxton kits come set up for Draw-Through.

VMP MAF Tube and Sensor

I am not going cheap no my car. No ebay kits, I don't care if people have success. I will pay whatever it costs to do it right. Thanks for the advice. Its appreciated!

Right on. Sounds good man! Either way I would call Bob then. He will have better advice for you than I. He is a centrifugal supercharger guru. I think he has tuned either the highest or one of the highest HP Paxton car's in the country. A 3 valve with over 700RWHP on a novi 2200 and E85.
