Paypal has built in protection for consumers but that protection also leaves a hole wide open for crooks and there is nothing you as a seller can do about it. Example - if you sell a set of heads on Ebay for $1000 and the buyer pays with Paypal the buyer can file a complaint saying the item was never recieved or the item was damaged. Then Paypal will issue a refund and take the funds out of your account. If you have no funds in your account you will have a negative balance and have to transfer funds in to cover it or there will be legal issues. The buyer doesn't have to prove anything other than he/she paid you for goods or services. Paypal requests that you prove the item wasn't damaged and provide them with a tracking number to prove it was shipped/recieved but that really means nothing. Even if you provide a tracking number Paypal issues a refund. I use to run a business and I used Paypal for online purchases from my online store. Several times I was screwed by Paypal. I sold some parts several years ago and the guy claimed they were damaged and filed a complaint. I told the guy to send the parts back, I would issue him a refund and also cover all shipping. He said he isn't sending anything back and he won't have to because he will get his refund either way. To me he sounded like an experienced Paypal con artist. I've had several people claim they never recieved parts and I provided tracking numbers and delivery confirmation for all of them. Paypal still refunded the money to the buyers. Several buyers ended up with new parts and never had to pay for them. If you want to be a crook you can buy shit with Paypal and never have to pay for any of it. Paypal sucks.
This is only partially true. If the buyer has a confirmed address and you ship to that confirmed address, paypal now protects sellers from any issued refund (relatively new paypal policy). However, this now leaves a hole for the buyers. A seller can simply send you a box of shit of the same weight and you will not be able to get a refund if you are on the buying side. this is why I always try to make my transactions in cash and in person.

When I bought the Mach, I paid in cash

That is what Paypal claims but it is not what actually happens. They have always claimed that the seller is safe if the buyer has a confirmed address and you have proof of delivery. What they claim and what actually happens are two different stories. I've been burned by Paypal on more than one occassion and followed there rules and policies. Paypal sucks.

i sold him a transmission he paid me from his account the transmission broke(supposedly i never got any proof but i had to rebuild it before due to similar problem so i didnt ask any questions) so i refunded him but to his dads account cause his couldnt accept payment. well he went to his bank and said it was an unauthorized transiction so they took the money back from paypal so paypal took the money from me.

As is. Its not your problem if it breaks unless it was already broken when he got it. In this hobby parts breakage is common and should be expected. If someone is afraid of breaking parts they should not try to make more horsepower or go faster. I wouldn't have given him a dime back. If I got money back for all of the parts I've broken over my career I'd be a rich man.

I'm curious to hear an explanation from 1badstang as to why he broke it off in your ass.

Hey man, you should put this in the Clubhouse or a link to it so you can get the word out a little more. I just clicked it because it happened to be on the main page as the last post, I don't troll the 5.0 forum all to often. Everyone here should know about assholes like this for sure.

a c4 is probably the most simple auto in the world, there is absolutley nothing to them.

if you want one built, go to clickclickracing.com and find silverfox, he will help you with anything you need, but if you do ask him, just keep your comments to your self, he is alot like darrel and is willing to share his knowledge but if you abuse it he wont do anything for you.

also if its a street car skip the c4 and go with a full lock up AOD. thats where its at my friend.
