1badstang Fkd Me Over

so i know i said it once but if you didnt read it the first time here is what happend.

i sold 1badstang a transmission and intake well something happend to the transmission and i refunded him in full, well when i went to refund him he asked me to refund it to his dads account cause he couldnt accept payments at the time so i did, they had the same last name differnt first name. well on the 1st ov november i noticed that my paypal account was -718.xx cause his bank did a reversal on the payment. so now its like he never paid me for anything but he had the intake and the refund for the transmission and the 740.xx that the bank refunded him and since it was the bank that did the reversal paypal couldnt to shit about it. so i tried to get the money back from the refund that i gave to his dads account and since it has been 45 days they cant.

so i called my bank and am having them do a reversal for the payments i sent via e check to his dad only 600.00 but still better then nothing. so i will still get fucked over on that 118.00 but i learned a lesson when it comes to sellin shit online..........craigslist or nothing......

yea sucks to hear about it man...but good luck getting your bank to dispute an E-Check....More than likely they'll just determine that it's a civil matter between yourself and the other party involved.

my dad runs a guitar dealer business over the internet and he uses nothing but paypal, he is paypal protected and uses conformation numbers.

paypal has helped him get his money back more then a dozen times, and also helped freeze the other guys account.

as long as you have a good bread trail for them to go off of, they will always help you

Paypal sucks. That was your first mistake. I've been scammed out of thousands of dollars via paypal. Unfortunately it took me a long time to learn my lesson....

Paypal has built in protection for consumers but that protection also leaves a hole wide open for crooks and there is nothing you as a seller can do about it. Example - if you sell a set of heads on Ebay for $1000 and the buyer pays with Paypal the buyer can file a complaint saying the item was never recieved or the item was damaged. Then Paypal will issue a refund and take the funds out of your account. If you have no funds in your account you will have a negative balance and have to transfer funds in to cover it or there will be legal issues. The buyer doesn't have to prove anything other than he/she paid you for goods or services. Paypal requests that you prove the item wasn't damaged and provide them with a tracking number to prove it was shipped/recieved but that really means nothing. Even if you provide a tracking number Paypal issues a refund. I use to run a business and I used Paypal for online purchases from my online store. Several times I was screwed by Paypal. I sold some parts several years ago and the guy claimed they were damaged and filed a complaint. I told the guy to send the parts back, I would issue him a refund and also cover all shipping. He said he isn't sending anything back and he won't have to because he will get his refund either way. To me he sounded like an experienced Paypal con artist. I've had several people claim they never recieved parts and I provided tracking numbers and delivery confirmation for all of them. Paypal still refunded the money to the buyers. Several buyers ended up with new parts and never had to pay for them. If you want to be a crook you can buy shit with Paypal and never have to pay for any of it. Paypal sucks.
