Hello, I came across your post about MPH blower cams and wanted to ask questions based on your experience. I have a fully forged 5.0L 2V stroker with TFS 185 heads that Tim tuned. I will switch to a KB 2.1 system from Tim using MPH cams.

You said the cam specs could be improved a lot for TFS heads. Please elaborate. Here are the specs you and others listed in the thread:

MPH KB CAMS Specs @ .050 236/236 115 ICL (intake centerline) 115 LSA (Lobe Separation) the lift was .550/.550 and the ICL and LSA 115

What would you change and why?

In post #17 of the thread you indicate you initially had them installed at 114*ICL. Then you changed to 113* ICL and made more power. Did you try 112* ICL with the TFS heads? Do you have before and after dyno runs each time you changed?

Dyno graphs would help especially if I need to tell Tim's shop to install the MPH cams at 112* ICL.

    Thanks for your time, Jerry

I prefer a progressive system just because there is always the right amount of meth at any RPM and any boost level.... If it was me I would go for the Devils own voltage system with trunk tank. Whoever thinks the AIS tank is nicer than the Devils own tanks has never seen a Devils own tank. The AIS tank looks nice but thats where it stops. The problem is the pump is fully enclosed under the tank which means it runs hotter is a pain to inspect and replace. The Devils own own tank has a built in sump, the pump is externally mounted onto the tank. The tank has a pump mounting system built onto the side of it thats why it has a funny shape.. thats where the pump goes. With this setup the meth pump runs cooler and is easily serviced without having to remove the tank from the trunk... which is a bitch when its full of meth spilling all over!
