np man ive just been researching and asking around from what i hear those blocks can handle quite a bit, but if it does blow up i still have my built 318 thats in there now so i could start over haha, your cobra is clean btw

wow looks like everyone had fun. really wish i could of made it. looks like everyone has some clean stangs there. Its probably best i didnt go mine aint really that clean yet and i dont have as many as mods as everyone else (i.e. nifty cai or rai) but yeah i vote monthly. i will def make it to the next one.

675hp from 302 cubes is asking a LOT... but I'm assuming a solid roller motor (.700"+ lift), 450+cfm heads (with gigantic high seat pressure springs and a shaftmount), 14:1 CR, and twisted to about 12,000 rpm should make a good start... in other words about $20,000 dollars MAY net 675hp completely unassisted.

still tough.. a 347 would make it easier... and with the benefit of more torque via longer stroke.
