unfotunately, the military dont play that game. you got to go to sick call, try to convince them that you are sick, and hopefully get an SIQ chit (they probably will give you a "sick pack" and some motrine and tell you to drink plenty of water

I was a Corpsman for 8 BTW.

Im an FC2, Ive been in for 4yrs and im gettin ready to reinlist this June. At least someone understands where im coming from LOL

My buddy that I went in with was a FC2, everytime we were underway I would go back aft to his workspace (Cwiz or however you spell it) and he had every game console known to man hooked up back there, and when it came time for him to test fire he would let me come back there with him and he would let me push the button

Nothin like depleted uranium firing off to wake you up in the morning

it was fun times.

LOL sounds like our workspace. Im an Aegis FC, computer tech. It's usually pretty chill but it sucks hardcore when things start breaking.

yeah tell me about it, my buddies whole system shut down one time during a test fire, there was a leer jet flying back and forth over the boat and the cwis was tracking it and just cycling then his whole workspace just shut down. he was like "holy shit, get out now bro" turned out that the whole computer just fried out and we were about a day away from Iraq. I was on the saipan, old ass amphib (now decomed), I was like this is what they get for pulling us out of the yards soo soon. we just got back from a deployment about 2 months before 9/11 and went into the yards and 2 weeks after the attack we were out.

yeah, tell me about it. Ive been contemplating about going back in. my buddy that was my LPO is now a recruiter and he said that he can get me back in under the same rating and rank. I got out as an e-5 and I passed my e-6 exam before I got out. who knows though. the way i see it is if i go back in got another 12 then im done.

I dont know if i could go back in after being out LOL. I couldnt be a corpsman dude, there advancement is terrible and i feel bad for them. After i reinlst and finish that term itll put me at my my 10 year mark and i figure if im half way there I might as well finish it but id like to pick up 1st class.
