Trailer queens

I like looking at cars with rubber hanging off the rear fenders. I am really into rat rods these days. I prefer the Goodguys car show for that kind of stuff as there are more traditional hot rods there. (I think I said SoCal beofore but it is Goodguys)

Don't get me wrong, Barrett Jackson puts on some cool stuff but I don't make it a point to go every year.

I just saw a Mercades Benz SL300 (gull wing) factory race car on Saturday at the Scottsdale Pavillions car show. It was sweet. I made sure that my wife (a car nut in progress - she likes late 50's T-Birds) checked it out because we may never see another one in person. It was sweet too! It was in the owner's family for a long time.

nice, my wife likes the 57 T-birds too, she's a BIG fan of the 50's trucks.. given the cost and work though, I think I"m gonna grab an ~03 F150 and 'retro' it with old F100 stuff...

I think it would look slick with the wood bed and chrome!.. plus I won't have to mess with the motor much.

yeah, mine likes a truck too. (she likes late 30's trucks)

I am thinking 55 F100 with a late model GT500 powerplant with a Hellion powersy stems twin turbo kit and meth injection.... providing that I come into a TON of money.

There is a 57 T - Bird that shows up at the pavillions show with a 572 chevy in it. It all fits under the hood too and sounds great!

There's a guy in Dauphin somewhere that had a 01 white vert, completely stock and pristine w/ 7k on it when I was looking at mine.. but this one came with some mods, and it was yellow

HA funny, York Haven is like 5 min from me.. I actually looked at houses there...

D-Brow, you don't happen to work at the McD's in Newberry do you? There's a green stang I see there all the time, fairly stock, I can't tell from your pics if it's similar? [update/edit] nevermind I found your pics.. not your car.

Looking back on pg 1, seem to be a lot of Central PA "newbies".. I wonder if they are still around..

I really wanted a Mach, but the insurance for a 24 yr old with a Mach 1, Jeep, Kawi Ninja, and a house was just a bit too much. I found my GT down in Ship...the guy definitely babied it and I couldn't be happier.

Haha ok, yea I don't think I've ever seen your car around before...I don't get out much though, so that might explain it. If you do stop in, I'll be the guy in grill with little to no hair, and shorter than veryone else back there haha...
