I will leave Des Moines by 2:00PM I can meet Tim in Iowa City at 3:05PM & we can be to Davenport in about 45 min to an hour later.

If I can get someone to trade me that Saturday for another. I will be able to leave out much sooner.

I continually have this argument with people - No - I don't rip up and down roads - but this is a great reminder to slow down because it's easy to get carried away....

Buy one - before the Elgin meet up preferably

alright all, Shar and I have been talking in the back ground and we are going to take this up a notch. Timber and Towelly were interested in coming buy for a weekend so this is going to be that time for travelers to make a trip.

Saturday before the car show, all MM members are welcome to swing by my house for a little MM meet. Firing up the barbeque, opening the pool and if you guys want, wash the cars for the Sunday car show if you so wish..

Shar and I talked about a alcohol limit and such but I feel like you guys can be adult enough to police that and I'll be pulling keys if I think your beyond capable of driving to your hotel. If the hotel is one of the close ones I see on the list, I'll shuttle you over.

All that said, PM myself and Shar, for menu and specifics. Once we have a head count more details will get posted here.

Under 21 can't drink in illinois, be aware of that because I can't let you drink on my property if your not of age. Sorry..

Nearest the show (Comfort Suites), $120 for the Check in on the 30th and out on the 31st. No smoking, two queen beds. Free interwebz, breakfast and all that junk. The next best one in my opinion (Hampton Inn) is basically all the same stuff for $100 during the same time period and is round about 4 miles from the show. I'm down for either really. Probably wouldn't mind paying a extra $10 for the closer one. Unless anyone has a better idea.
