MINNESOTA...Possible run and/or dyno day summer 2011

I'm always hearing about Mustang runs and watching videos of Dyno Days and I thought why the hell can't I be around somethin like that. I found a shop that seems to be pretty high class in Elk River, MN. I actually plan on getting a tune there myself this Spring, but they offer Dyno Days for a reasonable price.

If anyone from Minnesota or the surrounding area is interested, I'd be down for trying to figure something out for this summer. It could be a good time.

I am accually planning on/ working on routes right now for a spring/summer run coming up here soon. it will be going toward the red wing area, for some good twistys and straight way runs in the country.

I know I've seen them around....in the North Dakota and Wisonsin threads...
What's up with that?
There are certainly some good spots to hit around this state in the summer!

well, this summer Im over near Eau Claire, WI. Ill be saving all my coin for trip to italy though, plus, the cobra is near stock. No real point for me on the dyno!

Stock is ok! Its fun to get a bunch of cars and just film a bunch of pulls...stock cars to super modded cars. Lots of fun!! But a run down by redwing sounds awesome too. Hit a pub or two along the way and just cruise. I'm down for anything!

Getting a bite to eat and a day on the road is good for me!

I'll be in Fargo/Moorhead this summer, which is about 4 1/2 hours NW of Minneapolis..so i'm not too sure how close i'd be to this event. If it was like a couple dozen mustang guys I think it would be badass for sure though! Just depends how big it is...plus if gas hits 5 dollars a gallon it could be a pretty spendy trip

That would be sweet. We can do that on the new 35w right but the new bus stop. right when we pass buy it snapshot. or even on 94 between lexington and Snelling.

I know of a place in Red Wing we can talk a snap shot at too. I did a mustang run that went from MOA to stillwater down st. croix trail, into prescott over to Highway O and to redwing. this is my idea on the Run i am throwing together.

This is at the overlook at the Red Wing. Awesome view

3 hours, maybe 30 extra minutes pending where in the cities. I drive it each time I go home. cruise on 79 and go!

Thank you thank you, but she got a new look before I put her away for the winter. I'm just waiting for spring so I can get a few new pics and a new sig made! She's lowered and nearly blacked out. Tinting tails and headlights this weekend!!!

I've made it from the west side of Fargo to Minneapolis in 3.5 hours. That's not too bad for a weekend of fun!
I hope gas doesn't go up too much by then!
