Indiana?

Anyone here from indiana? Ive been here awhile and havent really met anyone or gone to any meets, just seeing whos here and whos close

im in crawfordsville, about an hour west of indy and 30 minutes south of laffeyette. If theres any meets or shows locally let me know, i wanna meet some of you guys so i dont feel so new

take a look at the wedan street and performance- brown county chaos post. i posted it a few post back see if thats soming your interested in. we have put this race on for about five years now and its a hell of a good time and fairly inexpensive. and its about 30 to 45 mins south of indy

Unfortunately, yes, there's other members from Indiana. I'm about an hour south of Indy though.

And what about this Brown County Chaos? Doesn't sound too far from me.

yeah explain more about it weden, i think me and wicked are about the same distance from brown county, i was down there last weekend

You and Wicked are about 2.5 hours apart. You are probably close to 2 hours from Brown County and Wicked is probably 15-20 minutes from Brown County. I am also about 15-20 minutes away from Brown County in the land of the Hoosiers.

I know there are at least 4 other fairly regular people on the forum from Indiana.

Yeah, I think Eagle2000 and 1FF are from somewhere in Indiana.

And come on, 2 hours? That's relatively close in Indiana terms.

Everything seems to be so far away.

On a related note, I found out that Weden Performance is a couple blocks over from work. Weird. Might have to stop by, especially if I get plates today.

hey there guys the Brown County Chaos is a race that we have put on for about five years now. its on a 1/8th mile track and we do it in the dark without any track lights! its pretty exciting to run and to watch. in the past years we have had everything from your stock street cars to several 5 second outlaw cars come out and attend this event. ive never seen anything else like it. if you would like more information feel free to give my brother Brad a ring at the shop. the # is 812-379-1134

brown county huh? me and some friends got this track down in colombus(sp?) its a test track for cummins but they are there very often. and one of our friends works there at the plant so we dont get in trouble. anyway, its an oval track about a mile long. no banks, all flat. we do diggs out there all the time. weve been looking for a few more people to tag along. Usally its just myself, an evo, s10, 89 stang with a 350 -.-, celica,rx8. etc... but like i said, weve been looking for more people to bring out with us. if intrested and in the indy area let me know and we can set something up. thanks- scott.

I would try not to make that track known to the public. I go there also, but I'm sure if it became a regular location for a lot of people then they would gate it up to keep people out.

i understand that fully. im not gonna post step by step directions. just trying to get a few more people to tag along sometimes.

THIS! I used to spend a lot of time down there about 5 years ago. Best part about it is that no one knows about it.

Im from down in Evansville. We have a good handful of Hoosiers here but we are all spread across the state. Im about an hour and a half SW of Brown county and three hours from Indy.

Theres a handful of Kentucky and Illinois guys that are fairly close as well.

Im glad I found this thread! I was wanting to find some more Indiana people too. Me and a few friends who arent on the forum cruise around Evansville when we can but it'd be nice to find more people on here to meet up with.

i know brenspeed does dyno days atleast twice a year they are in perstion in it seems to be north for alot of u guys but it is always a fun event all of the info is on there website brenspeed.com
