I am part of a really awesome car club with some pretty awesome guys...the problem is that it started as an F-body club (camaros, firebirds, trans-ams, etc.), it recently changed to a domestic car club (anything American made). There's now about 10 F-bodys, my Mustang, a Cobalt SS, and a few others that I just can't think of off the top of my head. Anyways, I think that it would be really awesome to have some more Mustangs in the crew. We try to do something as a crew at the very least once a month in the winter. Last month we went bowling in Fort Collins, on February 18 we are all going to dinner at Twin Peaks in Golden, and next month we all plan to check out the Denver auto show. Anybody is welcome to these meets, so if you are interested pm me or contact me on Facebook! Click me! Haha, I am not making fun. There are mustangs on HERE that can kill me. There just aren't many around South Wyoming haha. I know there are some in Denver tho.

I've been part of the Facebook part for a while, and then I saw the requirements and kinda got turned off.... I don't like how that your required to show up to one event a year.... All the politics in it... Not like I would ever be showing up in the mustang except the stuff that is in the Denver area, and even then it's a slim chance, being how often I'm at Bandimere and how hard the car gets pushed... And wit the 25.3 in it may slowly stop getting street time.

I like cruises and stuff, but I have never liked the car show stuff, I like going fast haha...

It's not for everyone, that's for sure...I'm just saying that its a fun crew and I want it to be more diverse than it is rigbt now, more mustangs would be nice for sure

Matt, people have a skewed view of "Events". For the record, I am the Club President. To us, an event is anything you go to with 1 other member. We will be racing in Club Clash at Bandimere this year. If you show up for ONE Club Clash, even if you dont race or don't bring your car, then you met our "requirement". The ONLY reason we make it a requirement is because we do want members who will hang out with us.

We are not ONLY a car club but we are friends...we have meetings once a month. We take about 15-30 minutes to discuss club business, then the remainder is a fun event. Anything can count as the 1 required event...a meeting, a car show, a race day, a dyno day, a golden super cruise, a random get together to hang out. Even if you don't have your car. My SS is torn down right now for the winter project, but I go to events just to hang out.

Lemme ask you one favor Matt. Hang out with us once. Come to one meeting as a guest. Meet a few of the guys and gals and have a good time with us, then make an opinion of us. We had 28 people at our last meeting and told them the same thing. no commitment needed, just let us know what you think after it is done. Out of those 28, only 12 were current members and another 5 were processing in. Now we have 15 current members with another 10 processing in and 2 thinking about it. So what do you think man? lol

I will give it a shot! I actually live in Golden and am at almost ALL Golden super cruises, not in the mustang ever as its too loud and too much of an attenision getter for a 20 YO to be driving.

I don't have a lot of extra time this semseter, but I will try my best to make it to one!
