I really want gears, definately 3.73's, it's just I'm not mechanically smart enough to do gears lol, so the gears are cheap, but getting them installed is whats killing me, I just locked up the motor on my '89 probe, my beater tonight, going home and got on it a bit and it CLUNK and locked up, so I'm back to drivin my pony 24/7 now, thats alright though.

It's on craigslist in omaha/council bluffs, but the body's a little rough, barely any rust, just dents and paint chips.

but on a different note, where'd you get your gears done at dick? or did you do them yourself?

I had a friend do them, im swapping out to whats next myself though. I need less gear now, thinking 3.55 is best, its a small step down, and puts me exactly where I want.

I thought about 3.55's because I'm on the highway all the time going to omaha and fremont and stuff, but I really want 3.73's BAD, did you go with ford racing 3.73's or what brand?

I was thinking that they would be, because my buddy's 01 cobra has 4.10's and they redline at like 7 or 7100 rpms and he cruises at like 2,800 rpms at 70/75 mph, which I dont want it to be that high, but with 3.73's I should be like 2,300 or so doing the speed limit (65-70)

shouldnt I?

You'll be fine wit 3.73's. If it were me i'd go 4.10's but beings that your already worried about it just stick with the 3.73's.

4.10's or anything deeper to me are meant for the track or a 4V, alotta foxbody guys use 4.10's too.

I do just fine with 3.73, I just need something a little longer, its not worth stepping from 3.27 to 3.55 for you unless you know for sure what you are doing, and that is what you will need. Right now with 3.73 I sit at ~2k ~60mph, and can get mid 20's for mpg. Its an ok gear. What all do you plan on doing to your car in the long run?

Skip the underdrive pulleys and fender intake, not worth the extra money. If you get a 75 shot, might as well make it a 100, your car will handle the 100, and you will wonder why you didnt go that route. Hell... ill sell you my p1sc and whatnot... if you want to go supercharged.

You should spray a 100 shot, depending on the kit it will give you either 80 some rwhp or 100 RWHP. With the kit i ordered 125 shot is really closer to around 100 RWHP. Look out for that when you order your nitrous.
