Midwest Mustang Owners I Need Your Cars!

Hey guys (and gals), The dealer where i bought my stage 3 roush from asked me to help him set up a car show at the dealer. I talked him into getting the Roush Dyno out there!! He would like it to be mostly ford cars, any year is ok. All makes and models will be welcome but he would like a minimum of 60 ford cars there. He is going to contact a local mustang/cobra club but i have to try to get as many as i can also. Should be a great day, food, cars, and the roush dyno. The dealer is Ernie Von Schledorn in Lomira, located at the intersection of hwy 67 and hwy 41. Looking at the calender i have to let him know what day we should do this. Any suggestions? He wants it to be EARLY in the year, maybe end of May or first weekend in june. Hoping some of you will be able to stop (and maybe even run your car on the dyno) at the FIRST ANNUAL ROUSH POWER DAYS!! everyone is welcome. It will be a two day event, the dyno and test drives would run on both days but the food stand and main car show would be on sunday, i will be there both days as i am hoping a lot of people will. Roush reps and maybe an SVT rep will be there along with maybe another person of interest??? Going to get a radio station out there hopefully sunday also. The dealer will have a roush there to test drive along with a bunch of stock gts. He is also hoping that he can get whoever buys the cobras that they are selling will take people for some rides around town. Hoping that we can get a bunch of people from this forum and maybe early saturday morning or saturday night we can do a little cruise. Anyone that helps me out on this i will buy them dinner saturday night in Fond du Lac or something.thinking the date that i will propose will be June 2nd-3rd.

reason i need to know this is because i want to have an idea of how many cars will be there because i would maybe like to work some prizes/trophys into the show ie: best of show, highest horsepower, fastest eta, and so on. thanks

hey guys. just wanted to keep this thread going. Still planning this show, working out details. Looking at the first weekend in June. I actually took a job at the dealership and am now selling roush mustangs!! should be a great weekend, expect to hear from me if you emailed me or gave your phone number. Early estimates from local clubs put this show some where in the 100-130 cars already. There is a hotel right next to the dealership and we are able to get a block rate if it interests anyone. let me know. Anyone who helps out will get a free dyno pass. The cost to run the dyno will be totally dependant upon the number of cars that we expect to be here. We are not out to make money but the boss doesn't want it to cost us money either. I am thinking about 15-20 bucks. non ford cars maybe 5 dollars more. Imports an even $100

(PS-if he wants ford vehicles, are we including mercury, which is made by ford? Cuz my cousin's got a sweet 99 cougar he might be willing to bring)

hey guys, just wanted to update you, the car show is still a go. All makes and models can come and use the dyno but we would like to have a bunch of fords that come come and sit around and show off. Mercurys, lincolns, all that are fine. the dates are now set at June 2nd and 3rd. The 2nd will be a day of dynoing and the 3rd will be the show/dyno. the dealership will be open on saturday but we will be clearing the lot and having some fun. flyers are in the works and anyone that wants one email me at microtendo@msn.com and give me your address. should be fun and i am looking forward to seeing some of you guys there!!

our parking lot is rather large. there is a hotel right next door along with a huge restaurant parking lot and a big gas station also. anyone that has a car that they want to show on sunday will be parking on our lot. the cars are getting moved and we will have a section fenced off. hoping that quite a few people will come on sunday and park and hang out.
