Well my husband and I spent 3 hours scrubbing it yesterday and I'm going to make sure it's good and clean on Thursday before I go to work. I've done a few things to my car but don't want to call too much attention to it for a few reasons....one of which is just watching the expressions on people faces since they think it's "just a GT" lol

no.. it was for a car show at war memorial about 2 weekends ago...but it would be kewl to host a mustang show there.

I agree on the GT bit... I was fooled about a month ago at a show a lady wanted me to take a look at her car about putting Lemans stripes down her car.. I thought it was a GT and all until she opened her hood... I guess I'm geting old!!

LOL WTF? It is kinda difficult to tell the two apart with the newer models...I'm sure someone here will disagree and be happy to point out to us how to tell at a glance though. Anyone??

well you couldn't this car has it has had all GT parts put on it and even Dual Exhaust Flowmasters,..I even seen a guy who has a 07 V6 with a complete Roush package on it. Without the hood up..very hard to tell

Very true...there's some 6ers in here that could give my GT a good run and probably beat me...course I've never raced a day in my life so I'm not a super person to say "Yay! I beat a V8!" lol

Do you do painting then? You mentioned the stripes...

well I personally don't paint stripes but I am a Bodyshop Mgr at a Chevorlet Dealership in Noblesville.. I have a painter who does a nice lay out on Leman Stripes

Ahhh...okay... That's cool - weather still looks great for Friday! Getting fired up! Going to give the car a good clean up again tomorrow night so she's good to go Friday as soon as we get out of work. Any construction that we need to be aware of?

we has I know as of right now,I don't believe you will have any problems..however when you get to Indy..take I-65 south to downtown and get on I-70 west to Holt rd.. and turn right on Holt rd. Legion is located on right hand side of road..you should see a Tank right there on the corner..should be a stop light there as well. The reason is 465 south is a parking lot due to construction at 38th st,10th,rockville, and washington so that way not a good way..also have been informed that the Riley trip has been cancelled.. so it will be the welcome bash and the cruise-in to Good Timins..and Fireworks!!. before you leave for town.. be great idea to check in www.indymustang.com for any last minute changes!!!!

Bummed about Riley but will still come down as long as the weather holds. My husband is pouting a little about missing the Bat Man premier but I promised him Saturday. lol Boys...

well let me be the 1st to thank you both you and your hubby on coming down to our Welcome Bash.. It was very nice to meet you both.We hope you had a great time!!! I wish you both could be here for the rest of the show but I understand...just need to plan for next time...if we come to Lafayette next time.. I'll let ya know.. you really need to meet the rest of the rowdy gang I hang out with.. Wow!!!!!!! 249 entries in all!!!!!!! what a great show!!!!!!! alot of nice cars and talk about the drag racing and oval Hot Laps!!!! awesome!!!!! it was sure great to see some Vintage Fords tearing up the Drag strip!!!! even a Yellow 1970 Boss 302 with 300 miles was there as a throughbred..very nice.. will post photos soon!!
