Straight Line Performance near Chicago. Erin (Emay) and Glenn (HeavyGT) have gotten there cars tuned there.

Stay away from logan.. do yourself a favor there. Towelly mentioned what I consider to be the best option.

A close second is Bob Kurgan, Kurgan Motorsports. He's a religious racer so time on the dyno is booked in bulk and you will want to be sure and make that appointment.

Anyone who needs a tune after work I've done is referred to Straightline. They are in New Lennox. Not a bad commute from Aurora.

thanks for the close second props Erin... As you know, i dont like to get extremely aggressive on the 05-08GTs though i have a customer with a 2007 who i tuned in the spring running 10.70s @ 130mph with longtubes, built rear, and novi2000 intercooled kit... he made 575rwhp ON THE STOCK MOTOR LOL!!

No problem Bob, and no hard feelings hopefully in my migration to Straightline. I can get in there on a whim, and be there for an entire day making pulls, then tweaking, and making more pulls. That and we are being aggressive which I know you weren't.

In making it clear to everyone though, Bob laid it on me like this at my first dyno session with the blower on just a short 5 months after the cars purchase. He said, I don't want to push it, you got a brand new car, 10 to 15k in aftermarket parts and body work, I don't want your car sitting in the garage for the entire summer waiting on a motor because we did damage.

So that said, he was straight forward, and made complete sense. I respected him for it. Things changed for me after the first summer, and the motor is 100% not going to be in this car soon. That led to my aggressive chase.

Now Bob, do tell, what in god's name allowed you to net 575. If you want to PM or email me please do.

performance autowerks in plainfield IL is a good ass shop. when i get back home in April thats were im going for a full dyno tune and its 400$ for the full tune and some dyno pulls. pluss they will only have my car for about 6 hours
