Should make the "check marks" showing which threads you've replied to a little bit more noticeable. Always liked that feature.

I don't see ads?

Oh wait I have adblocker.

I kind of like it. The hashtag is smart because its a new way to search something.

Only thing I ask is under the tools dropdown, their needs to be 'subscribed threads' like before. I hate to dig through the page to find my subscribed threads. That's where I go most when I am not searching a specific section.

And the 'post quick reply' button does not work for me. Had to copy and post this into a full blown reply.

They're super obtrusive on the sides and are annoying at the bottom. They were just fine at the top. And a small thing that bugs me is the quote boxes are different in classic now, but I can get over that.

I like the tagging feature, indifferent about the hashtags.

Not really an option on the phones. I used one for a while and it only worked half the time and slowed the internet down.
I kinda like the latest posts bar on the right, it keeps me from having to click on "new posts" every 5 seconds

what do you mean not an option on the phones? I have yet to get an ad on my phone.

Subscribed threads is under Tools > Quicklinks

They are working on the Quick Reply issue, it should be fixed tomorrow.

Also, there are two skin options for "classic" view...

The one just labeled "ModdedMustangs" (no .com forums or anything) is the truest classic as it doesn't affect the quote boxes and such.

nevermind... it was JUST removed

Well I'm on a phone, and my horizontal screen space is a bit more limited.

any chance on getting this skin back? or replace Classic with what it was? That had the old quote bars and some of the better classic things still on it.

So disabling the side bar pushes all the ugly vertices ads down to the bottom, which looks really really bad but is less annoying than it being on the side.

And the ad on the bottom is the most annoying.

I went to classic, I just don't like the Mustangs at the top. 2 fox body verts an SN95 with cheese grater tail lights, a decent looking Termi and a GT500 ... yuck

Alright, current opinion.
1. The color scheme of the site kind of sucks.
2. the big box that tells me I need to finish my profile up at the top is annoying.
3. The site is terribly slow on mobile for me now.
4. I turned off the side bar, as it really limits the size of the actual posts. It wouldn't be so bad if it was smaller, or even only on the main page, where all the forum sections are. It is unnecessary to have it on the actual topic pages imo.
5. As has been said, quick reply doesn't work, but they will be fixing that.
Switching back to classic probably.

So running chrome somehow makes your ads go away?

The new picture on top was actually the only part I liked.

maybe for mobile it does.

btw... my quick reply works, but it's far from quick since it reloads the page extremely slow.

Try it and just give it a full minute

The new banner is okay. And if you use adblock extension on chrome the ads go away. Adblock is awesome. No more ads anywhere ever.
Speaking to my last post, I noticed that even if I turn the sidebar off, it only turns it off inside a thread. It is still on the main forum page, as well as the subsection pages, and even the "reply" page. Meh. If we have to have it, I'd like an option for it to just be on the main forum page.

Kind of like how this forum does it (local forum).... the recent threads box is small, unobtrusive, and only on the main forum page.

My quick reply does work but it's painfully slow and tries to double post.

Jeff, on the recent discussion thing on the right side, if we click the link is there a way to take us to the most recent posting in that thread? Every time I click it on the DC it takes me to the first post.

Sorry if that has been addressed, I didn't read like anything in this thread.
