Question Maunual or Power?! - Altec Products Show n Go License Plate Transporter

have a '15 GT....and live in Illinois that requires that ugly a** front license plate.

I found that Altec Products, Show n Go transport that allows you to hide you plate.

I love the videos of the auto one flipping out, but worry that it would not work great or become less effective over time.

Pros, it's cool...if I get pulled over, I can do it from in the car, etc

Cons, How hard to install...I have to hack into the long will it work....what about in the winter with snow or parking...does the weight effect the mounting...

I bought the "manual" one, but before I install it I am having second thoughts!

What do you all recommend?
