99-04 or 2007

I am looking at getting a Mustang soon. I had a 2000 v6 coupe. I am wondering in your opinions: is it worth saving a couple g's for a used car or should I pony up for a new one?

Basically is the power gains on the 07 worth the extra cash?

Mmm i know through like the 04 model your only makein about 260 horses stock i drive an 03 gt and love it however i got owned by my buddies Cali special 07 GT(300horses stock i believe) the other day (both cars bassilcy stock) however i did pay about half as much for mine as he did for his.

I have less than that in my car right now...And a stock 05+ Mustang GT stand 0 chance...Unless I somehwo destroyed my car form the truck midgets eating to much...

Its all preference but mine is 99-04...

hell cough up 24k and get a terminator, its still a hell of alot cheaper..

with a pully and exaust you can see 450- 500 easy

I really like my 07 GT, but with any new vehicle you end up paying for the new car smell. If you're not wanting to drive out for around 28-31k (GT - depending on your options), you should definitely consider a used car.

Also, if I was going to heavily mod my car from the start I would go used.

i am not impressed all that impressed with the 3V cars. the only thing that i have seen they are good at is taking to aspiration better and thats it. couple of guys around here think they are hot shit with theirs and they have became another on the kill list.

the new gt's have a totally different feel when driving them than the older models especialy in handling. but all mustangs are fun and easy to drive.

yea the 07 gt's are definitely fast but you can easily surpass them if you go used!

you should buy a used one. get it and you can even supercharge it. you still will end up spending less money. you will also have a lot more power. sure you will still have to get a different exhaust to support the airflow but you will still spend less.
