My new winter beater

So in about 2-3 hours I will hopefully be picking up an '89 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It's got about 172k miles on it, inline 6 4.0L, 4x4 with a 4.5in lift, and for only $175. Now to answer the question that pops up in everyone mind, 'Whats wrong with it?'. It need a thermostat, radiator hose, and the big one is that it needs a rear main oil seal. Yes it does run and drive. I should have more info on after i get it home and can really go through it to find out what else it maybe or maybe not need. I will also post some photos of it when I get it. All in all, it's not bad for $175.

So I went to go pick up the jeep and the road to get there was out because of the ice storm we had a few days ago so it took longer to get there. When we got there, the place was so tight that we had to take the off just to get the truck turned around to tow the jeep out. We tried to start the jeep but the batt was dead (the guy is deaf and left a light on and didn't hear the dinging (kinda funny)). We couldn't get it to jump start, so I put it in neutral and me and the guy pushed to the trailer ramps as my father turned the wheel. We pulled the winch line out from the trailer and hooked it to the jeep only find out that the winch controller stopped working (tested it before we left and it was working before we left). The guy had everything ready to go, title, bill of sale, keys, spare parts. I never did get the jeep today and I was not going to call a tow truck for it. So I will be heading back out next weekend with a spare batt, clamp for the radiator hose, and some oil and coolant and see if I can just drive the damn thing home. Not how I planned to start my weekend.
