Hey ive got a question. What would be better for a street driver and an occasional track 96 GT the Nittos 555 or the Nittos 555Rs? I need a tire that will hold up well. What are the mileage rangeages on the the two tires? Thanks!!

I like mine...Better traction + great wear = great daily tire...
For drag radials Mickey Thompson ET Streets can not be touched by any other... |

not much different than slicks, they have really bad waggle at anything above 40mph at the tire pressure it would take to make them hook.

Im going to go with the nittos because of my budget. I am only 15 and dont have much money to spend on tires. And i was leaning towards the Extremes as well. What size should i run? I was thinking the 275s but will that fit on my stock 17 inch rims? What other size would you suggest? thanks

My Nitto's suck ASS!!!! I hate them and can't wait to take them off. Been balanced 4 times now by 4 different places and no one can get them right. I wouldn't put them on my car again even if they were free!

i ran both 555 and the 555r. loved both sets and never had a problem. the 555s were great till a little after half way worn then they started to harden a little but the 555r stayed softer till gone. dont remember the wear on the 555r but i got 20k on the 555s if i remember correctly.
