HUGE ATENNA


does anyone here think that the atennas on mustangs are bit much? like 28" is too high imo. did anyone here change it with like the 8" or 14" ones available on americanmuscle.com ?? anyone have pics of what it looks like? thanks

I went the cheap way. I bought one at the local Pull A Part for $1.00. Most any model late Ford will do. I think I got one off a CV. Pull the ball off the end, cut it to the desired length and super glue the ball back on the end. I sprayed mine with rattle can black to match the car. Redneck engineering at it's finest.

i took the ball of the end, cut the antenna so it was the same height as the roof, super glued the ball back on and lost no reception. did it 2 years ago and the ball never came off.

i have the 8 inch antenna from american muscle. you can see it from one of my garage pics. didnt lose any reception with it and it looks a lot better imo
