new gears = speedometer issues.

So i got my 3.73s in finally and apparently my speedometer is reading around 7mph faster then it was before. Has anyone else noticed this change? Is there a cheaper way then buying a chip to fix this?

go with the xcal it will wake your car up and take care of the speedo issue.

Actualy if you only want to correct the speedo, find the dealer that sells
Roush or Saleen in your area, and have them reflash your car to adjust for the new gears. Cost 1.0 hr labor and it's done.
The reason I suggest these dealers is that as a whole they tend to be more performance and mod friendly.

Well lets take price into consideration here what will a speedcal or an xcal cost me? And if i were to go to a dealer should i wait to have them reflash before i get my headers and xpipe installed?

Headers and X pipe shouldn't require a reflash.
