New sound?

The last few days (sence ive had my 3.73's installled) ive noticed a faint whitsling kind of sound which sounds like its comeing from the front but im not for sure.. Would this be my Cai or should i get it checked out?

yeah my guess wold be the CAI but if you think its serious go get it checked out. My CAI witsles and i had to get used to it too.

Does it make the sound only at full speed or always? You could try having a buddy slowy move foward while you walk next to it and listen so you can tell where the sound is coming from.

Also since u just got ur 3.73 u probably were listening for noises and then came accross this one, not knowing it was there before. Does it make the noise while its just sitting still or does it have to be moving. A CAI will make noise all the time when the engine is running, and so if it only does it when its moving then i would have it checked out.

I really only notice it when i accelerate it deffinatly sounds like some sort of wind resistance(i hope) or sumthing just a real soft whistleing sound doesnt sound like a big deal.. But mabye ill take herin just to be sure

Yeah i would get that checked out cuz u dont want something to be wrong with ur engine and just ignore it thinking it is just wind resistance. From what you describe it doesnt sound like the CAI hope this helps.
