QUESTION! Whats the difference in a 94 thunderbird 4.6 and a 97 mustang 4.6?
The person that had my car before me blew the original 97 4.6 by racing and going about 150-160 with 4:10 gears. So he replaced it with a 4.6 that bolted straight up but came out of a 94 thunderbird. Anybody know the specs/differences of these motors? Just wondering for future upgrades... Thanks!

I think the two motors are identical.

im almost positive the 4.6 from the thunderbird is maybe even better because i think it has a full cast intake manifold rather than the shitty plastic ones on the mustang. but the motor is identical, swap it.
