it's not that hard.. they have little clamps behind the bracket.
undo the clamps and then just unscrew it.

lol... i got it off just didn't recognize the bit that i needed to remove it... i removed it and installed an upper and lower billet grill... i think it looks pretty nice

Just cover the honeycomb with black electrical tape, that'll look super awesome.
