Any good racer is able to read the other driver just by watching them and the way they drive. This tells someone who is experinced more than anything through the lines they take, how they shift, they way they enter corners, etc. If your looking to make your car stand out more, I would suggest working on suspension to give your car a better stance. Other than that, I'm not sure what your asking.

hm... how to make a fox look badass... Get wide ass tires on the back and give it a nice coat of primer gray. I know if my stang ever goes, and I get a replacement, it will be a primer gray fox, those just say you mean business.

I can't see too much in the avatar. Maybe wider tires on the back, (will 315s fit an 89?), cowl hood, boost and fuel pressure gages, and a roll cage.

gauges, big 5inch tach with shift light, some type of aftermarket hood, lowered, and maybe a 5.0 badge or a supercharged badge if thats your style its not a sticker and it can look stock depending on where you put it

Put a roll cage in it and drive everywhere with your top down and your racing helmet on.

If you want people to know you're a badass without making your car look like rice is REALLY REALLY EASY.

Only do mods THAT ACTUALLY MAKE THE CAR FASTER OR SAFER FOR RACING.

A legitimate rollbar/cage (not some lame-ass "styling bar")
Appropriate tires (too wide tells me that you're a jackass and don't know what you're doing)
Better brakes.
Lightweight wheels.

Of course, if you do any of these and aren't racing, than you're just a dumb ricer.
