Anyone Else having these Tint Problems


Ive got my tint done by 2 different places and both times me and my friends 06's window has scratched from the stiff window trim that small amounts of dirt and dust get in and scratch it?

thats because of use of cheap tint theres scratch resistant tint that is two ply it withstands scratches better .

you need to pull back the window trim and wash it off. If there isn't anything obvious you need to look further inside the door panels. There is something there that shouldnt be and can probably be removed fairly easily.

Time out, the s-197 models do not have a felted trim on the inside portion of the window, any of the window tinters worth their weight are forcing their customers to install it. They call it moleskin, the new branded mustang problem is that this hard rubberized piece itself is now so stiff it's like hard plastic and scratchs tint on it's own, not to mention a piece of debris or particles getting in there to make things worse.

http://www.tintprotector.com sells a kit for scratched Mustang Tint.

They make the felt themselves JUST for this purpose!
