Zoom Clutch?

Ok i work at an auto store and they sell ZOOM performance clutches.
the Stage 3 is identical to the SPEC stage 3 clutch (98older GT 10.5)
I got the clutch today for one it feels like it weighs much more then my spec...its got a metal pressure plate the rest is CAST IRON

does anyone have a Spec stage 3 clutch and know if theirs was heavier then a spec 2 noticably?

i also noticed the fingers on the plate arent 100% flush even...one side is down more then the other a tad...but when torqued down Iam assuming that may go away?

why i got Zoom instead of SPEC
both 6 puc, both hold 695+
Price
Spec $324 cheapest
ZOOM $250 after my discount...regular cost $320

I had a zoom in my torino, worked awesome.. it had a 2600lb pressure plate and it was smooth as glass

Whats the disk material made of on the zoom? If both PP are diaphram's then chances are the clamping force is about the same so the deciding factor is the disk material.
