black sh*t on rear bumper?
why would there be a build up of black "sh*t" on my rear bumper? It is right where my exhaust pipes are, and I understand that is obviously from the exhaust, but what exactly? Its like I'm running a diesel! Thanks

That's the only thing I can think of, but that doesn't help him a whole lot. Have you thrown any codes or done any new mods to your car recently.

when was the last time you did a tune up? Might not be burning all the fuel...those are the only 2 things i can think of at the moment.

I was thinking Im runnin rich too. I've been having some issues with my idle so I was going to replace my plugs and wires and clean my TB and plenum. I really noticed after I got the prochamber and flowmasters installed. I didn't think Id need a custom tune tho with mods I have but maybe I do. Thanks for the help. Ill post a picture later tonight too. Thanks again!

You probably will need a tune. I only had a RAI and exhaust and I was running lean.

yup unless you have cats on that prochamber you need a tune. it messes up the 02 readings. You'll have to get a tune, it's most likely just rich as hell. have a friend watch you stomp on it and see if she blows black smoke.

No cats with the prochamber. guess that's the reason then. looks like im going to have to put out the 500 it costs to get a damn tune! that sucks! think if I get a diablosport tuner I could adjust it myself? would def be cheaper!

Yeah unless you screw up the tune then it could be a lot more expensive. I'd say spend the extra green and get it done right.

spend the extra cash. Not much more plus its a hell of a better tune prolly dyno alittle higher numbers with a custom tune too.

All you need to buy is the tuner. You havent changed much so you can pick up an xcal or a diablo and turn the o2 sensors off. Should run fine. However, a custom tune and dyno would yield some more power, but in an effort to save the greenback, that is all you really need to do.
And i just wanted to add that post number 4 was pure
