Traction problems

I currently have a set of Mt's drag radials that I took off of my car because my tuner does not like them on the dyno plus state inspection is due in March so I figured I would put my Eagles back on till after these things were done. The problem I am having is any boost at all and the car wants to turn sideways. These Eagles feel like driving on ice. I have scared the crap out of myself a couple of times forgetting to feather the petal. My MT's are better but they will also break when I am in my power band at 45 to 50 mph. I was wondering what other tires some of the other supercharged cars are using. What about a Detroit lock do any of you think that would help.

you are running just a tad bit more rwhp than i am so my input wouldnt really help to much, but i dont seem to break to loose all the time.

im running some regular nitto 555 for my everyday driver and i have a procharger and im making about 550 at the wheels, and for everyday driving they are good. the 555r's are better but why buy a drag radial and spend that mony when you already have some drag tires, as long as you are driving normal they work fine, but hey you might have a heavy foot lol

I think that is the way I am heading. I am leaning towards a set of drag springs from Eibach to start with.

492 rwhp/435 rwtq and 4.10s on the street. You need a higher gear to make the car more driveable.

We just got our first snow of the year today. Drag radials and snow don't mix.

I know I need a higher gear the problem I have is I just spend about $8,000 on this thing in the past couple of months. I am going to end up in divorce court if I drop another $1,000 on gears and a Detroit trutrac.

The average temp. right now is about 41 that can be the temp one day than the next day it can be 65 right now it is 31. The ocean seems to change our temp drastically every day this time of year. Right now we have about 8" of snow on the ground and by friday they say it is going to be pushing 70.
