Does a Strut Tower Brace really do anything

hey i got my 08 roush 427r mustang and i wanted to put a Strut Tower Brace and a shock tower brace will that help or just look good

You will not find a consensus on this one

I have seen many posts by those who really know the S197 and say that they they are good for nothing more than an engine hanger to replace "K" member. Proponents say, it helps on hard driving and autoX.

I have and 89 hatch back I had to take mine off bc my slicks wouldnt fit but I cant tell a diff with out them.They prob just work for cornering

I noticed the steering feels more responcive.

Is it worth the money?? Not really.

Mine seemed to tighten up the cornering......but i guess it could have been all in my mind.

I have a three point Edelbrock brace on my convertible and yes it did help front stability of my car.

Unless you are racing its not really necessary. sure it will tighten up the front end, but that dosnt really matter if you arent racing.

Mine was missing when I bought the car. After I got one and installed it I noticed a pleasant difference in cornering stability. It definately helps stiffen the front suspension on cornering.
