Zmax

More snake oil. All you need is a good synthetic oil and change it when you should.

What he said.

Zmax is the equivalent of a miracle weight loss pill.

Nothing will make you lose 50lbs sitting on the couch, and nothing will give you 50HP for $20.

most weight loss pills are basically the same as high caffeine doses. The only reason why any weight is lost is essentially because it causes your heart rate to sky rocket for extended periods of time and being that your heart is an involuntary muscle, when it works that much harder it causes you to lose weight although it's not safe at all. But you won't be getting 50HP from zmax unless you've lost atleast 50HP from sludge or something like that. Basically it's BS but will clean out the engine if that's what you want it to do just don't run it over long periods. Personally I would drive with some in for about 500 miles and then do an oil change, and put in some nice synthetic.

Yep, I would use that stuff along with some sawdust to quiet the noisy drive train. I have a box of sawdust for $17.50 if anybody's interested. Save your hard earned $$$ and skip the zMax hype. Read and heed or add your name to Barnum's list!

Hell NO!!! I was reading lately that this is basic mineral oil and when in your motor if can actually speed up fouling. There was talk about a lawsuit because it was so misidentified.

that old man's had his chance. he should have quit while he was ahead.

he's suing factory five racing now for the design of their "type 65 coupe" shelby daytona race car replica. he's sued factory five before, and part of the agreement was that he is unable to sue them for the design of their coupe. factory five took it to the same venue as their last hearing, so carrol $helby doesn't have a leg to stand on

I would not use that stuff on an already running engine. I did however see them use it on "two guys garage" while assembling an engine. They say soaking the parts (pistons, rods, etc) in z max helps with the dry start up at first (because no matter how much priming you do there will still be SOME dry components)..........it actually DID soak into the metal. I dunno about it still, just because it can soak into metal does not mean it is good.
