Engine tuners in Colorado? Failed smog test.

Does anyone know any good tuners in Colorado? Preferably someone with a chassis dyno. I installed my supercharger and ignition and my car runs great. I took it in for it's annual emmisions test and failed. I've tried gas additives, plugs,wires,filters,unhooked the elec. fuel pump for the SC thinking it might be making it rich, and I am out of ideas. I have a digital air/fuel gauge that reads stoic. The fuel pressure is right on, and I am still failing. The car passed before I put all the stuff on. I still have the same injectors. Anyone have any ideas, or know a tuner? Thanks.

well i have not used them before, but i have stoped in and they were very helpful. The place is called CARZ performance, and they have a chassis dyno. I believe the website is carzcustom.com. They are located in lakewood, near wadsworth and colfax. Let me know if you find any other place thanks.

Thanks for the info. I just found the same one today. I called them and they sounded like they knew what they were talking about. I'll try to find time and try them out. If I find any others, I'll let you know. Thanks again.

just slip the dude a $20 at the inspection place and ask him for a passed sticker =) thats what i do... for the last 3 years no prob :p

Is you air/Fuel a wide band? Also being nearly 10 years old it is possible you need new cats. But taking it to the tuner sounds like they should be able to sort it out. If not Invictus had a good idea. Or you can move to Florida and not have to worry bout emissions!!!

I started thinking about the cats myself. I'm going to order a new exaust anyway, so I'll get new cats and see if that helps. Thanks.

i thought in longmount you didnt have to have an emmisions test. I just register mine in a county that doesnt need emmisons test and its all good. But if you dont have property in a county that doesnt require tan emmisions test then just go to some small emissions place and slip them a small amount of cash.
