3.55 vs 3.73 gear setup for 98 GT

Just wondering what the take was I saw the 3.27 setup on the other thread but no mention of 3.55 has anyone done these. These are the 2 different setups I am debating against.

3.55 minimum gear you want, I can't believe no one has blown you all kinds of shit for asking about gears. 3.73 & 4.10 are the most popular gear. Normaly 3.55 are ran in higher power cars turbos/blowers. 3.73/4.10 are big because of the seat of your pants feel you get with a lightly modded Mustang. The best bang for your buck modd.

in general 5spd cars 3.73 Autos cars 4.10

Seriously? What searches did you do before asking this?

I'm not trying to jump down your throat, but this is the #1 most asked question on this board.

Will this be your first mod?

I suggest doing something other than gears. 3.27 to 3.55 is almost a waste of money if you're going to do it anyway.

Lets see im 18 and bought the car last year. I have a bbk cold air, b&m ripper short throw, sct chip, off road h-pipe, a set of underdrives and aluminum driveshaft. thats it for performance upgrades im looking to rebuild my rear end and replace the gears here shortly and I have had recomendations for both sets of gears thats why I asked.

Nothing wrong with 3.55s, just not a big step up, but if you get them for cheap, why not.
