HUB Assembly or Wheel Bearing Replacement?
So in my 98' GT When i'm cruising along there is a wierd sound like I have super swampers on my car like a loud constant hum its my rear passenger side tire im sure, its very annoying cuz i know its theres very constant same low hum every time i start rolling any clue to what this may be? Guess is the wheel bearing but I heard you have to replace the entire hub assembly to fix this is this true? Also can anyone point me in the right direction to tell me where to get one of these? Also is there good one of checking to find which bearing it is exactly? THANKS GUYS!

it is your wheel bearing as this is the same sound that my 6 was making. you dont have to replace the whole assembly at all.
94-04 FRONT HUB, WITHOUT ABS - MUSTANG MUSTANG here is the hub that you need to purchase, inside the center mounting hole you will see the bearing that sits inside which sits on top of the spindle. Ford says that every 60k that you should get the grease changed so if yours arent bad you can either regrease the ball bearings inside or just replace the whole thing. Not a real hard job just make sure not to loose any of the bearings. I opted for the whole thing as I found out that the little retainer ring inside had broke apart not holding the bearings in place.
