Rice means different things to different people, but the most accepted definition is anything you put on your car to make it look "fast" that has no actual performance gains or utilitarian aspect.

For instance, on my Corolla, I put NGK Iridium plugs. Absolutely no reason for those plugs to be in a car that puts 50hp to the wheels; +2 rice points. I also have a couple stickers on my car; +5 rice points per sticker. Euro lights are another good one, (I don't have those, never will). Generally the faster the car actually is, the more rice you're allowed to have without being considered "ricey", unless you're a domestic, then *any* rice makes your car ricey. Also, quality and intent can have an impact. Cheap-ass Kragen pedal cover kits are most likely rice, but I'd never consider a Bullitt pedal cover kit to be.

There are also those that refer to any import as rice, though I would disagree with that. I've seen riced out Mustangs, and I've seen imports that I wouldn't consider ricey at all.

lmao @ rice points... Well, maybe I'm dating myself, but back when I was a youngster, every dollar I had went into making the car go as fast as possible first. Looks came second. I guess if you do the opposite of that, then that would be considered ricey.

I saw a v6 mustang one time that had a wing that came off a friggin hang glider, and he had the ugliest body kit and black checker pin striping. It would be safe to call that ricey. To add insult to injury - he had cobra decals on it and it was most definately a v6.

Yeah, nothing frustrates me more than seeing Cobra badges on a nonCobra. Cloning is one thing, as most people who clone at least up the performance to match what they're cloning. There's this one in Eureka, it's purple, obviously a 3.8 car, and this guy's got every cobra ANYTHING on his car, and not Ford stuff, I'm talking cheap K-mart plasti-krome cobra head crap. Huge ass double-deck wing, cheap-ass looking rims, euro-lights, the works.

And if that sounds like your car... I HATE YOU AND YOU'RE A MORON. I mean, this isn't even a show car, unless the show is "When White Trash Attacks, Part VII!" I mean christ, make your car look how you want, but don't upbadge. All you're doing is giving some Honda a "I killed a Cobra with my del Sol, domeztic iz teh slooooow" story with video to back it up.

I mean, if you're embarrased to have a six-cylinder, SELL IT. I ran for years with a N/A 4 cylinder automatic CONVERTIBLE, and I still have my share of kills (and more than my share of losses). But I loved that car.

I'm going to break this down once. The term riceburner is a slang word to describe a high performance japanese car. Ricer is just short for it. When you say something is "riced" out it resembles something that someone would do to a high performance japanese car. It doesn't mean cobra emblems on a GT is rice. If it meant that you have anything on your car that does pretty much absolutely nothing except make your car look fast, then I guess if I put an s821 spoiler on my car it would be "riced out"? Or a cobra bumper? Everyone has some stupid definition for it. It is what it is. It's common sense.

subarus make good cars... I just hate it when people say imports are better than american muscle, because some people dont see it like this but name one import that beats the z06.. watch the you tube video of the z06 going to 200mph.. It just gets their... the speed just climbs!
