Starting Problem

My car tries to die the first time i start it on cold days, so i figured it was the IAC Valve. I replaced it and it still does it. it only tries to die the first time the key is turned, but it starts fine the second try.

check your air filter, maybe it came loose or its dirty. Mine was doing that and the Air filter in the fender was loose. I have a JLT CAI.

lol im not sure but ive had stupid problems with mine starting in the cold too. i took it in to the dealership and there were no DTC's. but they ordered me some parts that cost me 800 in total for parts/labor and i still have the problem. luckily i got them to cover half. haha. but from what i understand there were some technical service bullitens about hesitation to start in cold weather on 4.6L manual trans. although mine is a V6.
