noobish question


yes this may sound kind of noobish but im new to the scene i kno most cold air intakes dont need a tune. do i need to get a tune right away i kno i will see more performance if i do but is it required to have a tune to get it to run. just wondering.

becuse i was jsut gonna wait till i get all my stuff and get the tuner when i am done.

it will run like crap without a tune. certain intakes don't need one like k&n but i recomend a steeda or a c&l intake with a diablo tuner. i got a c&l racer and diablo from radmustangs.com and i love it.

^ +1 try to get sct livewire tune instead. i hear good things with it hehe

im not tring to have it run perfect as long it does what it needs to do im good till i get all my other stuff done. thne im lookin at diablosport preditor tuners seem pretty good .

Wait until you get a cai that requires a tune.. no need to buy twice. intakes that don't require a tune are usually crap in the first place.

yea i got a bcp racing cai its not the best but it will do the the job i am gonna get some bigger pipes next then get a tune was my my plan

i would agree that if you want to go for a tuner, this is the set up you would want

it wont run perfect without it but if u plan on gettin 1 not too far down the line y not wait to put the intake in and do it when u get the tune?
