EHEM...like...10-15...
Gears & clutch = no hp and your hp depends on exactly how much of your exhuast u upgrade, but dont expect too much from just a CAI and an exhuast. |

If your looking for sheer horsepower power its good to go with turbo or supercharger and then find ways to eleminate the back pressure caused by the exhuast. The pulley's and gears just help you maximize the efficency of the power created by your engine.

the average catback exhaust gains you roughly 15 horse depending on the system, and the average CAI and tune is good for roughly 15 - 25depending on the manufacturer and the car. I wouldn't get the CAI without a tuner, in fact, and some other guys can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think you can install the CAI without a tuner and expect to see all the benefits from it anyway, but I'm not sure about the 97's on this. Diablosport & SCT are two great tuners, & C & L makes good CAI stuff. Here and Here

a true CAI might net you another 2-5HP and yes.. you can most certianly can add a CAI without the need of a tune a handheld tuner will help you out and probably give you another 5-10 to the wheels. all in all i'd say you'll see 15HP with the above mods (including the handheld) |

Yes, backpressure helps with torque. Modulars are known to have low torque compared to windsors.
---------- And on top of that, i've seen mags with dyno tests proving between 8-10 hp and 5-7tq from a CAI. |

Gears will make your car feel a lot faster (but no extra hp). As far as the other mods i highly doubt you will feel any change on the butt-0-meter. Most CAIs claim their hp gains because they alter the airflow to the maf in a way that makes the car run leaner. Sometimes they will cause major problems if you do not retune. |

with full exaust, which is including headers, modpipe, and catback.. would roughly get you 20 hp and then with a cai and tuner i say you could get 30 pretty easily from it.. long tube headers for the most power.. get ceramic coated.. this is just what i have researched, heard, and seen..
