Do a forum search. EMAY had a great write up using only simple green and turtle wax f1 tire shine. I did it this weekend before the 1st staurday night cruise. Got lots of compliments on the results.

Some and water. I know some guys will actually turn a hose on it. Just be careful of some of the electrical stuff and don't use to much pressure. Then wax on tire shine depending on the item your cleaning is it shiny you could use a wax or is it plastic you can use the tire shine

i used some good ol gunk engine degreaser on mine. works perfectly. i have a small timing chain cover leak that leaves a trail on the bottom side over the course of 3-4 months. so i jack it up in the air, spray a bunch of gunk on there, let it sit and hose it off 10-15 minutes later. works like a charm! i have also used a product called cd2 that i got from autozone, and it works very icely on the top side.

Because I see an engine cleaning thread every week. If you wanted more idea use the search button. There are tons of threads just like this that have all the information you are looking for. Necro one of them if you don't find what you are looking for and someone can post a new idea there. That way when someone else like you rolls around with a question about cleaning their engine, everything they will ever need to know will be in the SAME thread and not in 10 different ones.
