is it the front one connecting to handle? or one of the two long ones going to one of the rear wheels? Either way you have to get under the car a lil to replace. if it's the short front one then its a lil easier but the handle mechanism is retard. go to ford dealership parts department. its hella bank though. my short one snapped it was like $60 or something. hour or two to replace.

At least yours flat out snapped forcing you to replace it. My e-brake sticks so I always just trust the transmission to hold the car in place. Not like Illinois has any hills.

So yeah, I have to pretty much look like I'm fondling my e-brake for 5 minutes if I don't want to go home with it on. The first time I realized this happened there was insane amounts of blue smoke from my right rear wheel, it was really intense. It heated my centercap up and popped it out. Gave me a reason to buy the Ford Cobra R ones versus the horrible ones that come in most off-brand wheels though.

So yeah, the hell with the e-brake.
