Tuners


HOW CAN I TELL IF MY '98 GT HAS BEEN TUNED? CAN I FIND SOMEONE THAT HAS A TUNER ALREADY AND USE THEIRS? I JUST CAN'T C PAYING 2-300 FOR SOMETHING IMA PLUG IN AN BE DONE WITH IT TOTALLY..... OR AM I WRONG HERE?

by tuned do you mean chipped? if so a performance shop shouldnt charge you anything to tell you if it is or not.

well if you buy a tuner you wont use it once and get rid of it. tuners are great for adjusting your cars computer to fit the style of driving you choose. you can basically change from best gas mileage to best performance anytime you want with a good tuner.

I can log the car's data on my tuner while I'm driving to see if I need to adjust spark parameter or fuel base to make it run top notch. Also, if your check engine light is on, some tuners will read diagnostic codes so you can find out yourself what is wrong with your sick pony.
