Really Worried! Help

Alright guys so this is whats up. I just back from a camping trip for the weekend, about a hour and a half drive to the campsite. I am driving along and I come up to someone that is going too slow for my liking so I decide to down shift into 3rd gear around 50 mph so I was about at 3krpms I think not really sure. As I proceeded to pass when I hit 3rd gear when I punched on it the car was like bogging down not engine wise but as if I left the E-brake on and tried to drive with it but the problem is my e-brake was not up! Then after I passed I tried slowing down to a stop and taking off and it did it all the way to 5th gear it took forever to get up to speed! I have no idea what this could be and all kinds of searches and nothing. My clutch is 100% I checked everything from the block back and its all fine(Tranny,Clutch ect.). It ONLY DOES THIS WHEN I DRIVE FOR EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIMES usually an hour or more. Driving around town it just feels held back by something :/ HELP! Thanks guys

I just asked cause on my truck, the intake manifold gasket blew and it did the same thing, It would only do it after a while of driving and the water temp was zilch cause the coolant wasn't making it to the temp switch.

maybe you just realized your car SUCKS! no im kidding its the best car ever made. are your rims REALLLY hot after this happens? could be dragging caliper...Or, to go off on an ADD inspired tangent, something really wierd happened, like there is a lot of air in your brake lines and when it heats up it expands and forces your pads against the rotors muahaha....but extremely unlikely lol

Could the gasket still blow even if it wasn't over heating? Because my water temp was fine the entire time, and always is when it acts up like that.

Well on my truck, when it originally happened, water temp didn't move at all cause of what i said before, normal coolant is getting to the temp switch, it was much later when there was no coolant left when the guage read zilch. Has it straight up died on you while driving?

It could be a ignition problem, if it's not running hot it's ether one of two things.. fuel delivery or firing problems. You might want to check the coil.
