um seriously do not belive 99% of the shit that they tell you on those ebay stuff. those people are looking to make a quick buck by selling absolute shit. same for those plug and play chips, they are stupid and worthless and a waste of money. do not waste your money. if you were to show up at a race or something with that, you would probably be laughed off the track

They are junk and will hurt your car more then help it...

If you want that just go buy a haridryer at walmart and put it in your intake...

Remember everyone if it seems to good to be true it is normally is...

All these ebay electric turbos/superchargers, inline resistors and other $hit is fake as hell and wont do shit for you...

here's the deal, if any of that stupid shit actually worked, don't you think everyone would be getting it and say screw spending thousands i will just spend 100 bucks on a electric one. They built those for the dumbass people that don't know shit about cars and for someone who just wants to say they have a supercharger. The sad thing is those probrably only cost about 5 dollars to make also. They should offer a gun with the sale so the person that buys it can shoot themselves after they get embarresed after they tell someone they bought that piece of shit.

I knew someone who completely fried his electrical system. They require ALOT of juice and most people dont install them properly. They max out at a whole 2 psi, and when installed on a focus, i think it made the car slower. If i were you, i would save my $ for the real thing.

Yea but im sure they are selling them... so now everyone can have a "supercharged" civic.... it is amazing what ppl will do to make a quick buck.... this kind of reminds me of the tornado (hey, why not shove some scrap metal behind the air filter, that'll increase air flow for sure)

Wait a second here everyone. Before you all go on bashing this electric supercharger, I have one question. Does it come with a beg of stickers? If so, the stickers alone will make enough hp to pay for the damn thing!

Electric superchargers do not work becuase, the engine's vaccum (the natural suction of air through piston displacement) is more powerful than the push force of the electric fan used on the supercharger. This means the pull of the air from the engine turns the fan quicker than the fan can turn itself due to the fact that there simply isnt enough power to turn the fan at any worthwhile speed. What this does is this puts drag on the air intake while damaging the fan on the supercharger. Hence it breaks fairly easily and leave debris to flow into your intake which may cause engine damage. They're not worth it at all. You'd get better gains from a Cold Air intake.

On top of that, you have to fabricate it to your engine yourself. For the 5-10hp they promise from the supercharger, no fabircation is worth it, even if it "DID" work. It's a "PURE" waste of money, and even more so time. Anyone who'd dare test an electric supercharger expecting any "REAL" gains definately doesn't know much about cars.

it wouldn't be a supercharger if it wasn't belt drivin.. must be an electrocharger lol =)

and chris is right, you're better off buying a hair dryer from walmart... just get one that has the cool air button and then just put a peice of tape on that button so itll blow cool air instead of hot as balls air. that should work for you

i have a little 1.6L suzuki and i did all the math after fiding the cfm of the fan. with my 1.6L the numbers that came out it would be amazing to get zero vac let alone boost, they are a joke.

you might actually see some minor gains if you were to, say... hook it up to you bushwacker of course you'd have to strap a car battery to your back..
