Swap a 2v for a 4v?

I've got a 2000 mustang gt that has a stock motor right now, the only thing I've done so far is put on an x-pipe and flowmasters. I'm thinking later of putting a procharger or kenne bell supercharger after I graduate college. Should I think about putting a 4v 4.6 motor in the car before I make any mods or is there not that much noticeable difference when you add a supercharger to a 2v motor? Also for now what should I be looking for to put in the car that is not too expensive for extra horsepower? I'm thinking of some long tube headers and maybe a chip next, but I'm not sure.

not unless you A. plan on getting alot of power out of it? or B.or you just want to.

i think the amount of power you would get by going to a 4v wouldn't be worth the time, money or trouble. 4V will make alot more power than 2v in the upper hp range but you can get around 650-700rwhp out of a 2v if you put the right amount of boost on it and forged internals.
